Hello, legends! With traveling being a huge part of my life, I decided to round-up my favorite summer travel beauty must haves. Whether you’re heading to camp, a weekend trip, or traveling abroad with family, these top picks will have you feeling refreshed and gorgeous while away on any adventure.

Fragrance first

I’m so excited to be working with Scentbird on this blog post and wanted to introduce you guys to my new favorite travel buddy. I can’t tell you how many times I have lost a cologne to airport TSA cause I forgot that anything over 3.4 ounces in a carry-on is a no-no, RIP to all the fallen fragrances. Basically, Scentbird is a subscription service that gives you monthly access to a new fragrance for a small price, this is perfect for anyone who is easily bored of their perfume or cologne, which is me, always. Scentbird lets you take a quick personality quiz online, and sets you up a selection of scents they think suit you according to your like. Then, like magic, its on your doorstep and is very travel friendly and the perfect size to toss in your bag on the go. You can check out more on Scentbird and use my code MISTERP25 for 25% off your first selection! Enjoy!

Sweat it out

Okay, between you and I, I sweat a lot. I have never found a great deodorant that has lasted me all day until now. Say hello to Piper Wai! I first saw this product on Shark Tank, and was a complete skeptic when it came to their “all-natural” sales pitch. Usually anything all-natural doesn’t work for me, and I stopped trying to be eco-friendly, until now. I decided to take Piper Wai along with me on my recent trip to Fiji and am forever grateful. Not only was I on a remote island village with no electricity or proper showers, but my team and I spent hours in the hot sun each day, working with the local villages cleaning and re-building after the recent cyclone. At the end of each day, I still smelled fresh and now refuse to use anything else. Piper Wai is made in the USA and works naturally with its main ingredient being activated charcoal to absorb any moisture. While the blend of essential oils, cacao and honeysuckle give it a fresh and attractive scent, I promise this will be the last deodorant you’ll ever use.

Tone it down

When it comes to a skin toner, I am always trying something new. Recently, I have been obsessed with all things rose, its even a fun word to say, say it with me, “rooooooooooose”. I picked up Mario Badescu’s facial spray for $7 at Urban Outfitters and was instantly hooked. Its refreshing aloe, herb and rose water ingriedients work to calm my skin, re-energizes me when I wake up and even soothe me during a hot day. I am already on my second bottle and can’t see myself using anything else this summer.

Just a little tint

When it comes to concealer, I’m not a huge fan, my skin is pretty sensitive and I end up breaking out when I try to cover up any problem areas, so I just gave up on finding anything that works. Upon waking up in the morning, my face can be a bit pale and it’s usually because I was up late the night before, until this tinted moisturizer by Laura Mercier made its way into my life. My good friend Francesca, a makeup artist in LA showed me this product a while back and I have sworn by it since. Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer is super light and even has a 20 spf which I mix in with my normal moisturizer to give my face a natural tint without over doing it. You can also use this on its own for a more flawless coverage, but I prefer to keep it simple and quick. This is the perfect travel must have for anyone on the go who needs a little natural color.

Hair, hair, hair

If you know me at all, my hair is everything to me, I really consider a great hairstyle the most important addition to any look, so of course I’m a bit product obsessed. I started using Fatboy hair products a few weeks ago and my hair hasn’t been happier. I really love a good hair product duo and their “tough guy wax”  and “fatboy perfect putty” are always in my bag now. Whether you want a messy-matte look, a clean combover, or just a styling cream to calm those fly-aways, the fatboy line has something for every guy and girl and smells amazing.

Glowing goddess

I’d be lying if I said this next product wasn’t the standout to me this summer. If you havent heard of GLAMGLOW, you’re probably living under a rock, seeing as every beauty guru has been posting about them, and now I guess so am I. I was sent Glamglows’s GLOWSTARTER recently and I haven’t felt more like an angel descendent from heaven more in my life. Yes, I am here to bless you all. Glowstarter is a light and weightless illuminating moisturizer and gives you a fresh summer glisten that is the perfect for date night or a summer get together when you’re hoping to look better than everyone else. You will literally shine bright like a diamond and perhaps actually turn into Rihanna herself at any given moment. Thank me later and try this fun product for that extra spark this summer.

These lips though!

Also a staple in my travel bag is a great lip balm. Rosebud Perfume Co. delivers all the moisture with “Smith’s” minty rose lip balm. It has been so hydrating to my lips this summer that I decided to include it in my list, it’s also only a couple bucks from Sephora so if you are in need of a good lip balm, check it out.

Problem skin

This next product isn’t for anyone, but it has changed my life as of late and I wanted to include it in case any of you are going through my same issue. For the past several years, I have been dealing with dermatitis. Dermatitis is a skin inflammation disorder that is known to case redness, irritation and dry patches on your face, scalp and sometimes body. I am lucky that I only had a few problem areas, but they have caused a lot of issues with my confidence while on set filming and taking pictures. I was embarrassed by the redness for years and tried everything from medicated creams and oils, to concealers and makeup, nothing worked, until Promiseb. Seeing as there is no actual cure for dermatitus, you have to find what works for you and I relied on my dermatologist to help me and thankfully this cream has. For the first time in years, I have had no flare-ups and my symptoms are 98% gone, I have never been more grateful for a product that works and I hope that if you are going through a similar issue, you ask your doctor about it and it works for you. I know how it can feel for people to stare or to spend hours covering up your blemishes, and this product has given me back my confidence and happiness with what I see in the mirror, I hope the same for you.

That concludes my list of summer travel must haves, I hope you guys enjoyed it and even try out some of these products that I have been testing out! Don’t forget to like and comment down below if you enjoyed this type of post and let me know your thoughts on the products! As always, thank you so much for reading along.
